Shawn Mitchell founded Modern Mechanical in 2010 and has since grown the company to over $10 million in revenue. Shawn is a United States Army combat veteran and leads his team like he led troops; with commitment, dedication, and a passion for taking care of his team.
Shawn’s business model serves as the blueprint for a sustainable workforce development program where the next generation of tradesmen will be able to learn the trade, be employed while doing so, and emerge without heavy student debt. He is a member of the VA Board for Contractors. Shawn also serves as the Vice Chairman for Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce and on the boards for Loudoun Habitat for Humanity and Rotary Club of Broadlands.
Mr. Mitchell is an alumni of Virginia Tech and resides in Loudoun County with his wife and two daughters.
